If you leave the employment of ABC Corp, you may be eligible for a continuation option for the Life, Terminal Illness and Total & Permanent Disability (TPD) and Income Protection insurance through a personal policy with MetLife.
The continuation option facility is not available to non-permanent residents.
You must be under the age of 65 when applying for the continuation option for Life, Terminal Illness and TPD.
You must be under the age of 60 when applying for the continuation option for Income Protection.
You are not eligible if you are on claim with MetLife or leaving ABC Corp due to injury or illness.
You must apply within 60 days of leaving ABC Corp to be eligible for the continuation option.

Your application for the continuation option is subject to MetLife’s underwriting process and meeting their occupation and pastimes requirements for a personal policy.
Please note that premiums for continuation options are payable by yourself and are at retail rates. When you request a continuation option, MetLife will provide you with a premium quotation along with the application form.
